Sam joined our sister firm, Carswell & Company Solicitors, Maryborough office, in February 2004. During this time, she has worked in various administrative support roles: as a clerk, secretary, and conveyancing paralegal. Sam completed her Bachelor of Laws at the University of Southern Queensland and received her Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from Bond University. Sam was admitted as a Solicitor in July 2013 and Principal of Carswell and Company Maryborough in July 2019. She is also the Principal of Change Conveyancing since its inception in 2023.
Sam practices in the areas of Family Law, Estate planning and commercial litigation and conveyancing matters. Sam’s understanding and tenacious attitude help her to achieve results for her clients in all areas of law. Her clients appreciate her personable, efficient and problem-solving approach to law.
Burnette was admitted to the High Court of South Africa as a Solicitor in 2002 and was admitted as a qualified Conveyancer in 2009. Burnette was Director of Viljoen Wagner Attorneys from 2011 to 2023 and has attended to Contracts and Conveyancing.
Having moved to Australia in 2024 she has joined the Dynamic Team of Change Conveyancing as a Contracts Administrator. She is currently attending to the conversion of her South African Law Degree to an Australian Law Degree.
Burnette is always willing to assist and enjoys and efficient, hands-on approach to her work, striving for client satisfaction.
Amy is the newest member of the Change Conveyancing team. She brings over 25 years of experience in administration to support the team. With a Bachelor of Social Science, Amy combines her academic knowledge with practical skills in providing exceptional administrative support and outstanding customer service. Amy is always ready to answer your questions or inquiries should you need her support.
Ben and his wife Sam are the Directors of Change Conveyancing and its sister firm, Carswell and Company Solicitors. Ben has an extensive background in business management and supports the firm in this capacity. He is currently studying his Bachelor of Laws and once completed aspires to be admitted and practice law. Ben has a keen interest in business, employment, and all areas of conveyancing law.
